  2. Internal Conflict: He mutters, jokes, and hums, showing a deeper feeling of loneliness and bewilderment.

  3. Escaping Routine: Climbs up on the bed, snaps photos of a LEGO race car, snatches chocolate — all little comfort actions.

  4. Creative Spark: He sits down in front of his computer, not to read, but to look at car designs — a glimpse of what he is enthusiastic about.

  5. A Quiet Realization: Outside, drawing covertly, Sid has an epiphany. He's still trying to get the hang of life, and that's what it's all about, to be coming of age.
